Michael Korda
My name is Jessica Wyrsch and I grew up bilingually with (Swiss-) German and English in the Alpine village of Davos, Switzerland. After graduating from the University of Fribourg with a bachelor’s degree in Media & Communications in 2016, I took on my first event position in Geneva working for PublicisLive. It was a fantastic experience working for an event agency that specializes in political conferences world-wide and executes all events for the World Economic Forum. It gave me the chance of travelling and working in Argentina, Rwanda, Jordan and Dubai. In addition, I became fluent in French.
Eager to learn more about the business world, I decided to pursue my Master in Management at IE Business School in Madrid – one of the best years I have spent so far! Moving within international environments with people from all over the world is where I am most comfortable. I fell in love with the Spanish language and am currently working on becoming fluent in it.
After completing my master’s degree with a specialization in Marketing & Sales, I joined the Nike EMEA Events team in the Netherlands. I was amazed on the constant forward thinking approach that the company and my team had and that they see an opportunity in every situation. I mastered hosting virtual events during the pandemic and gained many new skills in event management & communication.
For the past 3+ years I have had my own event agency and got to work with many new and existing clients – which has been an absolute pleasure and has taken me all over Europe for exciting event!
